The Vacancy
Career Connect Education and Business Team are expanding and we are looking to recruit an Employer Engagement Assistant to support the innovative employer related activities for our schools/Colleges. The successful applicant will make contact and liaise with employers:
To identify and contact relevant employers required for Job Connect activities
To maintain and develop a database of employer contacts to support all Job Connect activities
To negotiate the number and type of work experience placements to be supplied to schools and colleges alongside deadlines for order completion
To report back on progress with employer contacts
To maintain a data base of H&S Checks undertaken in line with Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
Key elements of the role require the ability to develop, negotiate and maintain relationships with both employers and schools/colleges.
The post holder will also need to plan and prioritise their workload in line with business needs.
